A little about me, and the way I see your wedding day
I’m Kay, the photographer behind AELA Photography. My approach is about how you feel throughout the experience, knowing you're in safe hands, and having someone who cares about the little things as much as you do. From helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera to capturing the parts of your day you might otherwise miss, I'm there to make sure nothing that matters to your story gets overlooked.

Three things I believe every wedding day deserves
01. The freedom to be present:
Your wedding isn't a photoshoot. It's a day to spend with the people you love, to laugh until your face hurts, to get emotional, and to take it all in. I work around your day rather than making your day revolve around the camera. I'll step in when a little direction helps, but I also know when to step back and let things unfold naturally.
02. The confidence of knowing you're in safe hands
There's a lot to think about when planning a wedding, and your photography shouldn't become another thing to worry about. I'm there to make the process feel easier. You can trust me to take the lead when needed, adapt when plans change, and capture what's important without taking you away from your day for too long.
03. The story you'll want to revisit
The photographs that mean the most aren't always the ones you planned for. I photograph your wedding with the bigger picture in mind, so your gallery tells the story of the day as it happened not just the highlights, but everything that made it yours.

What I love most about wedding photography is getting to be part of a day that means so much to you.
